Describing themselves as compulsive music sharers, The Vision*ary family are a new London collective where genre’s are only walls to be broken down. Wheit’s house or hip hop, garage or techno, nineties sleazy RnB or tribal psychedelic funk, if it’s got a vibe then it’s all bless. After humble beginnings as a group of heads simply sharing Youtube videos and Soundcloud clips, they’re taking their music sharing ethos one step further with their first night, aiming to showcase the best of underground electronic music across 2 rooms of East London’s Hysteria this saturday (3rd November).
Manchester’s deep house and garage composer Paleman, whose sounds are being used as secret weapons from the likes of Loefah, Mary-Anne Hobbs, Ben UFO, Disclosure and Mosca, tops a carefully selected trio of headliners (who are all playing 90 minute sets by the way), while also on selection duties is the South West phenomenon known as Tessela, poised to bring his absolutely awesome bass driven beats to the dancefloor. As if that wasn’t enough, the Vision*ary lot have topped up this tasty line-up with Brighton’s own Lorca who, since releasing his debut track Moments last year, has quickly established himself as one of the most elegant and soulful producers on the scene right now. The party wouldn’t be complete without London’s eclectic selectas Oli DAB & Robin, NTS Radio’s Mia Clementine, Aphix and Vision*ary residents Goulcher, Jack Vision*ary, alongside host of the night Juma Phist MC.
