Perhaps London’s mightiest bass music institution, the infamous Farringdon nightclub Fabric celebrates it’s fifteenth birthday on Friday 17th October with a mighty, varied lineup that sees Four Tet take on Room 1 with a four hour set while their ongoing dedication to drum and bass is represented in Room 2 with Goldie and Doc Scott going back to back alongside Dub Phizix & Strategy, Fracture and System, given a dose of originality and variety by a Pinch live set and beatsmiths Darkhouse Family.
To celebrate, they’ve just launched a new microsite featuring some great facts and stats about the venue. From the fact that they’ve been actually open and playing music for over two and a half years straight to the devastating ammount of needles broken and the overwhelming number of shots downed. With a great photo gallery that take you through the ages as well as a complete list of all the artists that have played for them, it’s an interesting insight into one of our favourite London spots. Completed by a competition to win tickets as well as Fabric First membership, you can enter that, check out the whole thing and pick up tickets for the 17th over here.
