Boom Bap x SMB Present: Something Good (13th Sep)

For those of us in the North West of London, Something Good this way comes. Something very, very good. Teaming up for an all star promotion cast, the mighty Boom Bap Festival are joined by Hip Hop super crew SMB (of Contact Play fame) for a rowdy night of straight up Uk Hip Hop over in Stoke Newington next Saturday (13th September). With all proceeds going to The Beneficio School Project to buy equipment for children of the self regulating communities in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the artists are taking a 100% pay cut to perform on a night that’s purely for the love, of both Hip Hop and the more important things. With SMB MCs such as Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Ed Scissortongue and even a rare Mr. Key performance getting their microphone claws on it’s already a healthy looking lineup, but throw in Onoe Caponoe as well as dusty fingered DJs such as Jon Phonics (fresh from his EP with Baxter here), Sammy B Side, Jonny Dett, and Clackman Duke and it keeps getting better. Check the full deets below, the Facebook group here, grab a ticket and reward yourself with a lesser heard Contact Play golden oldie below.
