These days there’s a festival for everything. Any genre of music can be celebrated in a weekend event anywhere up and down the country. This being said, however I’ve not once come across a festival dedicated solely to the art form that is UK Hip Hop; until now. Enter Boom Bap Festival, a three day hip hop extravaganza dedicated to the UK’s rawest, biggest talent. Set in Peterborough, over 10 acres of land Boom Bap features 6 different arenas showcasing a wide variety of urban culture.

Headlining the festival are acts such as Jehst, Kyza, London Zoo, Stig of the Dump, High Focus crew and many more. As well as live music there’s also a long list of other attractions such as live skate demos, spoken word poetry and a massive 32 man battle rap tournament hosted by Don’t Flop.

Boom Bap intends to give you a heavy blend of MC’s, beat boxers, producers, graffiti, turntablism and fashion all packed into one incredible weekend. Tickets go on sale at midnight April 30th with the first 500 priced at an early bird special of £30. Make sure to get in early in order to secure your place at the maddest weekend of the year!

For more information and a full list of headlining and supporting acts head over to Boom Bap’s official Facebook event here.
