PublicEnemy Black Music Legends: Public Enemy

There’s a reason BBC4 is one of my favourite channels on TV, and this is it. They’ve recently been going all out with Hip Hop documentaries (also worth watching out for the Reggae weeks!) and I stumbled across this one late last night. It was followed by an hour of the best hip hop moments on the BBC which is worth a look as well.

It basically follows the story of Public Enemy through their career to now, focusing on what made them so controversial and why they had such a massive impact on not only music, but the world. You can check it out on Iplayer here, but only till the 19th of December, so get those middle of the road Christmas films off and have a look!
