UK trainer shop Soleheaven not only sell a tone of fresh kicks and accessories, but also take it upon themselves to hook up with a different musical collective each spring to produce a promotional video based around sneaker culture. They’ve drafted in producer Smoove to lace a really nice mellow beat, led by melodic wind [...]
Since the internet spawned an overflow of bmx and skate videos, it’s easy for them to become stale. Tricks are often repeated in throwaway 4 minute sections of film that will neither be remembered or truly appreciated, so it’s nice when someone comes with something fresh and well thought out. Enter The Diggest a creative [...]
A conversation over a particularly hungover Sunday roast (big up the team and particularly the chefs) this weekend made me realise just how good life growing up on a BMX was. Frankly, what better ways is there to spend your teenage years then roaming the streets with a load of goons on stupid little bikes [...]
Despite the slightly cheesy name, Wheelie Great Bike Storeis a really dope shop in the heart of Bournemouth. Originally set up as part of an initiative to supply bikes for all budgets in the town, it’s expanded into clothing and skate and bmx parts from all your favourite brands. Make sure you tread carefully round [...]
Nike sent two of the finest street BMXers about right now, UK’s Alex Kennedy and Italian Simone Barraco, out to Israel for 11 days to sample a massive array of street in Tel Aviv. Going from this four and a half minutes, the city has a ridiculous selection of incredible spots to choose from, and [...]
I just stumbled across this Youtube compilation called ‘The Best of eXtreme Sports’ and, while there’s many like it out there, it’s really good quality in terms of editing and camera work. Simply put, it’s some incredible footage of a whole host of extreme sports feats, from one end of the spectrum to the other, [...]

It’s always refreshing when BMXers (or skateboarders for that matter, something our recent Kilian Martin interview is homage too) just do their own thing in an inventive, original and stylish way. Cue Phil Demattia with this little edit at Scotland’s Unit 23, somehow making an indoor skate park seem like a completely new place with [...]
Ok so we’re a bit late on the action with this one, but it’s too good not to share! Garret Reynolds has just entered the market with a new venture, Fiend, a parts and apparel company. This is the promo he released to launch the whole thing, and needless to say, it’s absolutely ridiculous.
This vid from Mutiny Bikes is brilliant; notice how the guy at the beginning is wearing a t-shirt that says ‘grumpy’ on it. This really sums up what’s fun about riding BMX for me, not that I do any more; I got too tall and my back said stop!
