Bristol Hip Hop crew SE Fire have just dropped a really heavy track as a build up to their album, Match in the Ocean, coming on August 13th. A crisp, relaxed and melancholic beat draws on Trip Hop elements underneath depressing depictions of city life before eventually launching into a hard, bass laden dubstep beat towards the end for a really original touch.

Dubbed by some as Hip Hop for the morning after a rave, it may prove slightly depressing for that, but I can see exactly how this will appeal to both hip hop and electronic music heads as it fuses the two beautifully. The female vocals add a really nice, almost massive attack style, touch for the icing on the cake and the video’s well produced and suits the track to a tee. Check it below, visit the group on Facebook and give their album a listen on Bandcamp.
