Twenty-eight year old pro skater Phillip Schuster had the help of his sponsor, Red Bull, in turning this old Austrian hunting lodge into an indoor skate spot. After gutting and rebuilding the place, they installed ramps and then reinstalled a load of the furniture to give the place a bit of character and originality, creating a really cool effect different to most indoor skate spots in that it’s basically an art-deco skatepark rather than a rugged collection of ramps. An awesome idea and great execution make for my personal favourite DIY skate spot I’ve ever seen and of course, it would never be complete without a video of Schuster and friends shredding the place while crouching to avoid the ceiling! Check that and some flicks out below.
